Hotels & Accommodations
Note: This is an outdated, archived post. Looking for XOXO 2018 hotels? Right here.
Last year, we were blown away to see over 80% of our attendees arrive from out of town, with a lot of folks coming to Portland for the very first time. Looking at our attendee list for this year, it seems like that trend will continue, so we’re working extra hard to put together deals with a selection of local hotels in both SE and SW (Downtown) Portland, to ensure traveling to XOXO is as easy and inexpensive as possible.
We should stress, September is a very busy month for events in Portland, with a lot of other festivals going on during or around the weekend that XOXO is taking place. While we’re holding blocks of rooms at these hotels, we expect they won’t last long, so we advise you book your accommodation as quickly as possible.
While the Jupiter Hotel is a short ten-minute walk from the Yale Union and other XOXO venues, the Westin and Marriott clock in at around 25-30 minutes by foot, which might prove a great reason to rent a bike while you’re in town. We’re also looking into arranging a shuttle service between the downtown hotels and our venues like we had last year, and we hope to have details confirmed very soon.
Hilton
Update: the Hilton has just ten rooms remaining. Located within the same 4 block radius as the Marriott and Westin, the Hilton also boasts close proximity to public transport, and plenty of great food and drink. Discounted double rooms come in at $139/night, with complimentary wifi included. Book now or learn more.
Marriott City Center
Update: we have exceeded our Marriott block, but they are still accepting a small number of additional bookings. The Marriott’s “boutique" City Center location is just a block from the Westin, and is also in convenient proximity to great coffee, the downtown cart pods, and public transportation. Our attendee discount brings rooms down to $145/night, including complimentary wifi. We posted a separate blog post on how to book with the Marriott.
Westin Hotel
Update: the Westin has just two rooms remaining from Wednesday through Monday. Recently renovated, the Westin boasts spacious, beautifully furnished rooms in a central location in the heart of Downtown Portland. The hotel is also just one block from Portland’s largest food cart pod, and is also right next door to Public Domain Coffee. Discounted single rooms come in at $199/night, and double king rooms at $209/night, both with complimentary wifi included. Book now or learn more.
Jupiter Hotel
Update: the Jupiter has no rooms remaining. An easy 10-minute walk to XOXO, this funky motel in inner SE Portland is adjacent to the Doug Fir Lounge, one of Portland’s best indie rock clubs. Lots of great stuff nearby and very affordable, we’ve reserved a range of room types on both the busier Doug Fir and quieter “Chill" sides of the hotel. Including our group discount, rooms range from $119 - $149 per night, including complimentary wifi. Book now or learn more.
